(3 days) The course allows students to keep their Wilderness First Responder certification up to date. This course is an intensive review of the Wilderness First Responder curriculum with updates to treatment and protocols if changes have occurred within the industry. We offer FULL certification in CPR (C) with AED as part of this course. During this course we will review the basics and then cover the important topics in detail to make sure you are back up to the standard in wilderness first aid.

Location This Wilderness First Responder Recert Course is based in Brackendale, 5 minutes north of Squamish, BC. All days are held at our training room from 8 am to approx. 5 pm. Practical outdoor training sessions will take place in local wilderness and outdoor areas near to the classroom.
Instructors All of our Wilderness First Aid course are taught by Dr. John Peachell and Shelley Secord, who are the owners and lead instructors of Wilderness Medical Consultants. Both Instructors are not only excellent 1st Aid Instructors, they are also active climbers, skiers and outdoor enthusiasts who know what it is like to be in a remote wilderness environment on a regular basis!
