Description
This is your day, so we will be consulting with you on an ongoing basis to make sure we choose objectives that you are most interested in to ensure you get the best backcountry skiing experience we can provide! Of course, along the way our Guides will also be there to teach Avalanche Safety skills, coach you on skiing techniques, and generally help you improve your backcountry skiing skills and confidence.
We start every morning with a review of current Avalanche, weather, and snow conditions before discussing our daily objectives. Before heading into the backcountry, your Guide will conduct an equipment check and go over Avalanche Safety protocols. Once the ski tour objectives and route plan are finalized, you will head out along the high alpine ridges to explore and ski some of the best ski touring and backcountry terrain in North America!
SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
Please note that all backcountry ski objectives are determined based on current snow, weather, and avalanche conditions. We always do our best to find the ski lines that our skiing guests desire, but safety is our number 1 priority at all times so some lines and objectives may not be available or suitable to ski on your ski day for a variety of reasons. Our Guides are very familiar with the terrain though, so they will always have something in mind to keep you shredding and make sure you don’t come home disappointed! If our Guides consider the conditions to be unsafe before the trip starts, we will offer to reschedule or refund the complete booking.
