Pantheon Range ski camp
The coveted Pantheon Range on the dry side of the Central Coast Mountains is home to Nirvana Pass, truly a backcountry ski mecca fit for the gods! Canada West Mountain School has more history running backcountry basecamps in the Pantheon Range than anyone, with our first trips there in 1990.
Our fully catered basecamps are established in Nirvana Pass at 1,800 meters, providing access to some of the most spectacular and wild backcountry skiing in BC. Each day you will adventure into a different region with our highly experienced ACMG Ski Guides on this truly amazing trip. If you are looking for a backcountry ski highlight this year, forget about Japan or the Rockies – the Pantheon Range is the place to be!

Here is a link to our suggested Gear List for the Pantheons Basecamp Ski Touring trip – Pantheon Basecamp Skiing gear list.
Discuss your gear with our office staff in advance to ensure you are prepared for the trip. We can answer any questions and help you with specific items and model selections.
For planning purposes, you can anticipate overnight temperatures in the -15 to -25 Celsius range, with daytime highs possibly to 0 degrees or warmer in the sun.
Due to the limited capacity of the helicopter, we discourage too many extra items; plan your gear to be as multi-functional as possible.
