Brent has been working in the outdoor industry since 2008. Before teaching with Canada West Mountain School he was a professional ski patroller on Mount Seymour. It was there that he helped others through his experience of safely travelling and working in the North Shore mountains during the winter.

During the summer Brent teaches and guides mountain biking along the Sea-to-Sky corridor as well as building trails on the North Shore.
