Skiing since a very young age and professionally involved in the snow sport industry since 1985, Rich has a varied work history on ski patrols, ski schools and as a CANSI course conductor and technical chair person. Rich brings a wealth of skills and knowledge within the ski industry to our programs.
A highlight of Rich’s career was representing Canada in 2002 at the International Ski Mountaineering Federation’s first World Championships race in France.
Rich has been involved with CWMS since the 1990’s teaching backcountry-telemark courses and, more recently, Rich has taken on a stronger roll Guiding as well as teaching all levels of AST courses.
